Radiant Barrier

If your home will be located in an area that is prone to extreme temperatures, then it is "WISE" to consider installing a "Radiant Barrier" between the structural frame of your roof and the roof decking. The barrier is designed to...

...decrease heat transfer into your attic space, which could help lower the cost of your cooling bills.

There is more than one type of radiant barrier on the market that is suitable to use in your roof. Therefore, consult with either your builder, or the manufacturer to find out which one is better for your home.
